I have always been a big fan of William Morris and I knew his daughter May embroidered a lot of his patterns and designed her own as well. It was fun to hear in her own voice her ideas about design which are perfectly applicable today. The reproduction of this book leaves something to be desired (too pale to read some of it) but I knew that going in. very interesting.Product details

well written arguments for decorative embelleshment
I tried to take away a star or two because of the typos on just about every page. But I couldn't change my original rating which was in response to the dedication to color and art.
Again, a gift and what was requested.
